The other winners are: Richard Powers (fiction) for The Echo Maker; Santa Cruz writer Nathaniel Mackey (poetry) for Splay Anthem; and M.T. Anderson (children’s literature) for The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Traitor to the Nation, Vol. 1: The Pox Party.
