The Washington Post drops in on the Orange County Register today and notes that “what happened in Orange County may prove a lesson for Tribune, the L.A. Times and much of the rest of the industry.”

The article has a few gasp-out-loud grafs, from comments by Freedom President Scott N. Flanders (who says former Times Publisher “Mark Willes was ahead of his time”) to the closing scene from a $150-a-head focus group at the Register (where readers embark on an odd discussion of the paper’s new bite-sized sister publication, The OC Post).
