Good point

“I don’t understand why newspapers, when they want to cut space, they immediately think of depriving people who like to read.” — Philadelphia Inquirer Book Editor Frank Wilson in today’s WSJ story about shrinking book sections at the LAT and elsewhere.

The Journal sez the Times now plans to launch its scaled-back Book Review on April 14, in advance of the Festival of Books. More at LAObserved and The San Francisco Chronicle.
